  • In the debauched world of INDIEROTICA, the thin bra-strap of a line between the seductive and the obscene is torn, stripped, and ripped off so often that one can have difficulty differentiating between the exploitative and truly erotic. Here to help us connect the dots is the brilliant and sexy REBECCA, author of the clever blog, PORN PERSPECTIVES. "Examining the interplay between pornography, feminism, economics, and technology", it's possibly the smartest sex on the internet.

No, they're strippers--ZOMBIE strippers!

I have to share my excitement at the prospect of Jenna Jameson starring in a horror movie about zombie strippers:

This one could be right up there with Showgirls, one of the all-time best good-bad stripper movies:

I know, I know...big dreams.

I am really not much of a Jenna fan, but she was just on The View, surprisingly, to talk about this new film and her porn career. It was actually a very decent talk segment, nothing really cringe-worthy. The clip is over at Fleshbot, com today, if you'd like to check it out!

I'm not a huge fan of Jenna's products, but I obviously have a great respect for her career trajectory.

It's interesting to watch her as she tries to break into the mainstream. Part of the reason she took out her implants and lost a ton of weight, I'm sure, is to shed her porn image. It's common for porn actresses who have achieved a fair amount of success to try translating it into mainstream films (see Tracy Lords). Doesn't always work, but if anyone can do it, Jenna can.

I'm thrilled The View (or its advertisers) didn't bar her appearance--even if she's mostly a curiosity at this point, it's still a major indication of mainstream acceptance.
